Born in 1961 November 15, In Kakavadzor Village  of Talin Region (Aragatsotn marz)

In 1978 graduated from Nerqin Bazmaberd (Aragatsotn marz) Secondary school

In 1983 graduated from Yerevan State University (YSU) department of “Theoretical Physics” Faculty of  with excellence

From 1983 to 1988 workedat the Institute of Applied Problems of Physics  of the RA  National Academy of Sciences

From 1985 to1987 studied and graduated postgraduate studies from National Academy of Sciences

From 1988 to1990 worked at the X-ray Center  of Yerevan State University

In 1990 defended his PHD thesis in “Physics of Solid Bodies” and received his PH.D

In 2008 founded X-Ray Laboratory 

From 2020 works in Yerevan Regional State College N2 named after N.Atchemyan as director.

Karlen Hayrapetyan is author of about 30  published scientific  articles, thesis  and 4 inventions. He is married, has 2 sons and 2 grandsons.
